Hello, my name is Simon Heyes and I am a mental health recovery worker for the National Institute for Mental Health England, the South West mental health development centre for the National Institute for Mental Health England (NIMHE).

  • New dragonian Mental Health Bill announced The government have announced new draft Mental Health Bill that the mental health alliance says is unfit for the 21st century. Though defended by Louis Appleby the bill has been rightly widely attacked for ignoring what service users and others want from a new mental health act. The bill as it stands is seen by many as an affront to civil liberties and needs to be challenged.
